This was a surprisingly good episode. I really wasn't expecting too much from an episode about Superman's most underused power, but it was pretty good. The central plot was nothing to write home about (as is typical), but the characters were consistent and there were a number of moments that made me chuckle.

Nice to see that Clark and Lex are both feeling guilty about what happened with Zod.

If Clark is so weak, how is he able to block his super-sneeze by covering his mouth near the end?

Convenient how the current crisis needed Clark's latest ability. That seems to happen every time he gets a new power.

Now apparently Zod strolled into the Pentagon in order to obtain access codes to the satellites and the Queen Industries satellite caught him on tape while doing this.
A. Just how powerful would a satellite have to be in order to do that? Wouldn't he have been indoors?
B. Why was that satellite pointed at the Pentagon anyway?

So Lana "I don't want anyone keeping ANY secrets from me" Lang doesn't want security cameras in her bedroom. If I were Lex, I'd tell her to get over herself. Given how often she's abducted or attacked, you'd think she'd find a security camera to be a worthwhile thing to have around. I really hate her character.

I'm curious to know what that serum does. It's named after Lex's little brother Julian (hooray for continuity!). As I recall, Julian was killed as a baby by Lex's mom. Was this perhaps some sort of poisonous serum then?

Along the same lines, what makes the number 3 so secretive? The 33rd floor of Luthorcorp and the mysterious Level 3 mentioned way way way back in the first season episode "Jitters" both involved some secret projects. There was some other episode with a mysterious level wasn't there? What the he|| are they doing in that building?

Oliver Queen certainly knows how to keep a low profile, doesn't he? Nothing screams "average Joe" like living behind a giant clock in the tallest building in Metropolis.

I'm glad to see that there's an aftermath to the "Dark Thursday." I think, however, that this is the first time that there's been no three-month time lapse between seasons. Interesting.

"This must be a Thursday... I never could get the hang of Thursdays."
