I'd probably find Lois more tolerable if her whole schtick wasn't "either I'm casually sarcastic or a damsel in distress." As it is, I really think the show would be better off without her.

Speaking of which, when she's being interrogated, watch closely when she's dunked in the trough of water the second time. The footage there is running in reverse.

It's weird seeing an episode where occasionally a vague green light appears on Clark without him suddenly going into spasms.

Lana is taking way too well to being part of the 'Luthor clique.' (In the sense that Dr. Orpheus is considered 'part of the Venture clique' on Venture Brothers) It shows just how wrong she and Clark were together. Of course, maybe after all the lines of BS that Clark fed her regarding his abilities, her head's just naturally wired to deal with the labyrinth that is the Luthor agenda.

The whole thing with Lex and Lionel conspiring to test Lana's loyalty would have been a lot better if the digital cable channel guide didn't blow that little subplot wide open.

I'm still 'settling in' on Oliver. I was less than impressed with his first appearance, where it seemed like he was being set up as someone who was there to screw with Lex. But now that he's starting to get more involved, I find I'm liking how he and Clark get along. I like the way they contrast each other. Also, the trick arrows (and the collapsible bow) are coming across pretty well so far, as long as we don't see a boxing glove arrow in the near future.

LOIS? Lana, yes, but Lois? Nah.
