Anyone read anything other than The Great Gatsby?

Hey, hey - no knocking my favourite American novel of all time, old sport! :)

(BTW, anybody see the recent A&E version with Paul Rudd? If you haven't, don't bother. Strictly How To Take An American Fairy Tale and Reduce It To Mediocre Soap Opera 101.)

Seriously though...I keep meaning to read Tender is the Night and never have quite gotten around to it. I guess I'm afraid I'll run into even more of the disillusionment and sheer sadness that pervades Gatsby.

Hey Kerriem, chill.:) The Great Gatsby was cool. I've just never heard of anything else of value by him.

If you want me to make fun of an Author invite me over to the Christie board. (Beside you might enjoy seeing me burned in effigy.:)

I think Fitz is a great author, perfect for the short story format. "Winter Dreams" and "Babylon Revisited" are two classics of the field.

Anyone here from San Franscisco, you know, the mid-west.:)
