Sue Grafton is the creator of the charming P.I. Kinsey Milhone.

She certainly is...and incidentally also one of the more charming series-title conceits in recent memory (A is for Alibi, B is for Burglar, etc. I live in breathless anticipation of what she's gonna do for 'X'. )

I've never actually read her stuff - for some reason it takes a lot to get me interested in a female PI - but the fans she does have tend to be entirely devoted.

I hope she will able to complete the series at some point. I know someone who likes them.
