Long Hair's Woman

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Non-SciFi Novels: Historical/Western : Long Hair's Woman

I'm proud to announce that my mom is now a published novelist, and her first book, Long Hair's Woman, can be bought on Amazon.com, or maybe in even your local bookstore. As yet I haven't read it but I most certainly will. If you liked movies such as Dances With Wolves or Little Big Man that treated Native Americans more fairly than they have in the past then you might like my mom's historical novel about a Cheyenne woman who bears Custer a son and considers herself his wife even though he's left them both. Who knows, it could even possibly become a movie someday and you could all say you knew the author's son! Why, if it becomes a movie and is even better than Dances With Wolves then it, too, could become an Oscar contender and my mom could attend the ceremonies and with me by her side! Heck, I could even kinda maybe sorta get a bit part in the film, but only a small one would be fine, like one of Custer's soldiers who dies or a townie or something. Doesn't even have to be a speaking part, either. :)

Anyway, please check it out and if you read it then let me know how you like it and even post a review on Amazon about it, ok? My mom would greatly appreciate it.
