A good heist episode :)

The part that Wash grins at and throws in the junkyard is a catalyzer, the part that they needed so desperatly last episode (Out of Gas).

Simon: "For this plan to work, River and I will have to be dead."
Jayne: "Ohh, I'm starting to like this plan."

When discussing the plan, Zoe states that since the hospital is an Alliance run facility, the pharmacy will be quickly restocked. Makes me wonder what the Alliance is doing that Britain and Canada aren't. As I understand it, the government run medical systems of the above mentioned countries are more likely to experience shortages than overstock. Or maybe Zoe is just saying that so that Kaylee won't feel so bad about the heist.

When Simon first wakes up out of his coma in the morgue, he has lifted himself on his arms from a reclined position, facing the table. The shot cuts from him to Jayne, as we hear Simon vomit. The shot then cuts back to Simon, who is still in that same exact position, not having peered over the edge of the table, but there is no vomit on the table.

So that's why River slashed Jayne. I totally didn't know this until now. Cool.

That helicopter like vehicle looks uncannily like a Mil-24 Hind. :)

It puts me in mind of the section in Lord of War where Nicholas Cage is trying to sell some illegally and he cites 'humanitarian reasons' as the way to get past the regulations. :)

"If I didn't know better, I'd say you're ready to save some lives." I thought it was a little strange that Simon didn't defend River at all after she sliced Jayne. That hospital wasn't very well lit. When Simon woke up, there was a panel that had a similar motif to one from Trek. Wash and Kaylee are miracle workers with that transport! Why did Mal wait until Jayne was ten minutes past deadline to go looking for him? I'm sure it was just to show us how diabolical these hands of blue guys are, but I didn't think their little death toy was necessary. Just kill the guy and be done with it. Who didn't see the doublecross coming?

I feel that stretched credibility a bit far; that Wash & Kaylee could fix up something from a junkyard to perfect working order and new appearance in just a few days. I'm not saying that it couldn't be done, but you'd think it would be so expensive that it would eat up most of the heist's profit margin.

While I agree that credibility was stretched for the rebuild of that ambulance transport I don't think it would've cost them a great deal. The Hind looked pretty much intact, they just needed to do some re-wiring and painting. The former could've mostly come from the junkyard as well considering the shape of the transport. The uniforms and IDs were probably the most expensive part of the caper.

Mal hit Jayne with an enormous wrench or something, right on the side of the head. Should've killed him.

All that clicking to activate the walkie-talkies at the end didn't seem to sync up. Something like that would normally be push-to-talk, but the way they were using them, it looked like you clicked in on and then had to click it off again.

And when Mal finally shut the outer door, it didn't look like much of a seal to me. I'd have still been worried had I been Jayne.
