I liked this episode, I think the last couple of episodes were really good, it is a shame it got cancelled, I hope UPN picks it up. Lets face it Wed. at 9 is not a goood time slot.

The show got cancelled! When did this happen!

By Hammer on Friday, November 22, 2002 - 9:05 pm:

Nov. 19th

Cancelled! According to Yahoo TV, the show will be gone after just 13 episodes. Two things irritate me about show cancellations these days: (1) they happen so quickly (and so covertly), and (2) there are generally no good backups for the cancelled shows (coming soon on the WB, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. eastern, "Wackiest TV Moments of America's Pets Caught on Home Video!"

It does seem like shows have been given the hook rather quickly lately. I can remember a time when networks would move promising shows to different nights, to try to find the audience. If I were in charge of the WB I would try the show out on Sunday night at 7:00, it would fit in really well with shows like Charmed and Angel.

Actually, Angel is moving to this time slot. Is the WB unaware that Law and Order is on at the same time, or do they just not care? You're not going to get good ratings by going up against that show. You're just not.

By Ryan Whitney on Thursday, November 28, 2002 - 12:30 am:

"Law and Order" is on NBC at 10-11 p.m. eastern. "Birds of Prey" was up against "The West Wing" on NBC (9-10 p.m. eastern). Either way, "Birds of Prey" was not in a great timeslot. ABC had "The Bachelor", which had huge Neilsen ratings. The sci-fi/fantasy audience still has "The Twilight Zone" on UPN, and the action audience still has "Fastlane" on FOX. Regarding primetime timeslots for shows, I've wondered for years why FOX, UPN, and the WB don't air any network shows after 10 p.m. eastern, unlike ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Oh, :P. One site gives airtimes in Central without listing it as such, one site gives airtimes in Eastern without listing it as such. We could really do without all this time zone nonsense.

I actually *would* watch Birds of Prey over The West Wing, the way West Wing has gotten lately. But I have work to do anyway.
