I like the term "pedeconference" (used on the Television Without Pity recaps) rather than "walk-and-talk" for the action described. Just, you know, pointing out.

Not to mention that on most boards here, like RM, 'general discussion' is on the front page and not in the Sink (specific debate topics).

Okay, you're going to have to talk to Phil. The roving mods are *expressly forbidden* from doing anything other than Dumping ad hominem posts. Doesn't matter whether any other use of the power is benign or not, it's still overstepping our bounds.

Even if you are ASKED? Look, CC only needs you (or another Rover) and the PM< Moderator to give the OK. I doubt Phil would CARE, let alone mind.

CC, I've moved stuff from board to board and not got any complaints. However as Matthew says this is outside of our stated roles as Roving Mods. It might be best to get Phil's OK before proceding. There was some discussion about this on one of the Kitchen Sink topics. I don't remember which one though.

I know it's ultimately up to Phil, but as Webber pointed out, I doubt he'd mind. He's a busy man.

I don't think it would be a problem. I haven't had any complaints about the other moves I've done.
