I couldn’t help noticing that Kenny was interpreting Joey a little too quickly on occasions during this episode. At least twice he spoke in exact synch with her lip movements. Clearly a genuine case of HRTS (He Read The Script)!!

Nice catch!

*CJ scurries into her office, kissing the results, followed by Carol*
Carol: "Congratulations, boss!"
CJ:"Nice job! Take the rest of the night off." Carol: "Yeah. It's one in the morning."
CJ: "Well, you've earned it."
*Sam enters*
CJ: "Sam, Sam, the Sunshine Man. Get on the couch. I'm going to do you right now."
Sam:"Okay."
C.J.: "Sorry, I was still talking to Carol."
Sam, affectionately: "What is wrong with you?" C.J., giggling: "We really don't know."
***
Sam: "You know, if you were serious about that thing with Carol, I could stand in the corner and not say--"
CJ: "Get out! *laughs*"

The scene with Amy & Josh at the bar is a perfect example of why Sorkin needed to either (1) be removed from the show or (2) at least stop rewriting every freakin' script. Dialog like this is definitely Emmy-worthy:

Amy: "Don't talk to me." (Repeat seven times.)

Honestly, as if she wasn't annoying enough, listening to her lines run through the Sorkin "reality machine" (which produces lines like "I'm just the guy who does the thing." - "What?" - "They ran out of pie.") make me want to shoot myself in the head. Sometimes this show can inspire, and I love it, but I do see why it never had the numbers that other, more consistently well-written shows garnered.
