...And the West Wing, which has been in a hitting slump for the past season, has grown stronger!

this was better than last week, I think Leo's character is still a bit off.

I also agree that this ep was a little stronger.

I have one little nitpicky thing to mention.(imagine that!)

Did anyone else notice the weird lighting in this show? I was particularly struck by the outdoor scenes in the disaster area. It looked like they were all standing under flouresant lights, but the scenes were outdoors! Also, when Leo is in his office talking to the new Chairman of the JC, the lighting was coming straight down on top of their heads which casted a weird shadow over their eyes. In fact you couldn't see their eyes at all. I was just wondering if that was intentional or not.

Was this the ep in which Josh's intern suggest that Idaho Dems could file a lawsuit against the guy who switched parties. Great idea! Except, it won't work. Colorado Democrat learned that when Benedict Nighthorse Arnold (aka Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell) went Right Wing on us after a mere six months or so in office. We tried to get our money back. We'd worked hard to get this guy into office. He ran as a liberal native american. Turns out he lied like a cheap rug.

Synopsis for this episode: Josh struggles to cope with the fallout from the defection of a Senator he pushed too hard. Meanwhile the President's impromptu trip to a disaster area causes massive ripples in Washington and finds Leo getting more and more snowed under.
