I got confused when Leo was having a flashback. Through the whole first Vietnam scene, I thought we were looking at the rescus mission in North Korea.
For about three seconds, I thought like TPooh did, but then I realized that N. Korea most likely doesn't have rainforest type jungle...
P.S. No offense intended TPooh, it was moderately confusing.
Why should I obey my boss? I'm his chief of staff!
Bartlett essentially flat-out tells Leo not to testify -- to me it was an "order phrased as a request" -- and Leo ignores him. Bartlett could have saved some trouble by saying, "Oh, and that's not a request, Leo".
Donna had a good point. She's been with him for 5 years, and he gives the Presidential briefing to Jimmy Olson?
Pardon me. That last bit should read "with Josh for 5 years"
OK, I'm now offically convinced that this show is back on track. Loved the stuff with Jay Mohr. Every time I've seen the guy in the past two years I've been reminded how godd@mn funny his show Action! was and why it was $tupid of Fox to cancel it.
No offense taken, Scott. I enjoy getting a response of any kind.
What confused me is that the NSC reported that the downed aircraft was an E-2B Hawkeye (which is along the lines of a small executive jet, crammed full of radar consoles and computers with a number of human operators) but they showed a 2-man fighter in the opening scene. Then I figured it out.
The E-2's are prop driven. The E-3 series are jets.
ScottN: The E-2's are prop driven. The E-3 series are jets.
Oh yeah. Well, still--the E-2's are more like a small passenger plane, which didn't seem to match the fact that the graphics showed a 2-man fighter.
TINY little nit: when Josh tells "Jimmy Olsen" (LOVE that name for Ryan) to put some numbers together, me (Josh) mentions the Joint Tax Committee. He refers to it by its acronym, JTC. Confused, Ryan askes for clarification, since he doesn't know what the JTC is. But, he says J-C-T, not J-T-C.
He probably was just confused and hadn't memorised the sequence of letters.
