The Hubbert Peak

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: The West Wing: Season 6: The Hubbert Peak

There's no way that a salesperson would let someone try to drive a vehicle *that big* off the lot while the driver is yakking on a cell phone.

In fact, Mrs. ScottN and I are currently looking at cars, and they drive the car *off the lot* and park on the street before the let us behind the wheel.

The salesperson read the script. ;-)

I liked this episode. I also liked how they addressed the reality that, while all the alternative fuel ideas had some validity to them, some of them wouldn't work in some parts of the country. Frankly, I think all the bickering they did (poor Josh) is in a way a metaphor for how the Left in general acts these days.

Let me put it this way. How often do you see black activists at a Greenpeace rally, or people with Sierra Club buttons at a GLAAD dinner?

What passes for the "left" in this country continues to disgust me, more and more.

Well hey, you still got me :)

Wow, CC has become an LJ whore :/

True, Bri. But what about the ones in public?

*sigh*

Hey, wait... I'm being a bad forum Nazi!

The link didn't work, and yeah, the ones in public do often embarrass me.

So Leo thinks a president needs a functioning brain. What a concept!

By Harvey Kitzman on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 9:58 pm:

Too bad we haven't had one for 4 years, and unfortunately we won't have a President who has a functioning brain until 2009!

I love you, Harvey.

Brian: Fixed.

By Harvey Kitzman on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 5:18 pm:

And I love you too, Hannah. :)

Finally saw the episode tonight. Excellent! This one seemed like a Sorkin episode. I believe that they are getting there groove back after last years bumpy season.

What is Toby's assistant's name? The short blond woman - she's great! A great combination of Donna and Anisley.

Bonnie? Carla?
