Cool.

I find the aspect of the "mommy problem" interesting.

Good story. Janine is correct though about the campaign - it needs a message.

Next week - the return of Bruno. Ron Silver is great at playing jerks.

Hannah, any thoughts on who the leak is? My wife and I have some but I would be interested in your thoughts first.

One other thing - did you notice that Donna, Charlie, Will, and Abby were no longer in the credits? Any thoughts on this?

By ScottN on Sunday, October 02, 2005 - 10:31 pm:

So it's *NOT* CJ???? D@mn. I thought I had it pegged as her!

By Hannah F., West Wing/C&J Moderator (Cynicalchick) on Monday, October 03, 2005 - 2:38 pm:

Scott, they're building her up too much for her to be the leak. I think it's Toby, or maybe even Kate.

I did notice they were gone, Harvey, but I think they do that when a person isn't in an episode for a few weeks.

Well, Stockard Channing will no doubt be back when her sitcom gets cancelled (although that assumes it will be cancelled). As for the rest, your guess is as good as mine- I didn't know those actors were done. Were they in the credits for "The Ticket"?

Last week it seemed like they were leaning towards making Toby the leak-ee, but again, who knows?

By ScottN on Tuesday, October 04, 2005 - 5:51 pm:

I was thinking from the end of Things Fall Apart and 2162 Votes.

By Jesse on Tuesday, October 04, 2005 - 8:32 pm:

I don't think it's CJ either. The post-Sorkin writers are way too good to make so obvious a play. I don't think it's Kate, either; she's not interesting enough for viewers to care.

By T`Pooh on Wednesday, October 05, 2005 - 6:19 pm:

I think it's Kate, because, in the 3 years in the future scene, CJ and Toby are still on good terms with Bartlett. I don't think they would be if he ended up firing one of them. Unlike Star Trek, they can't press the reset button when they time travel.

The Post-Sorkin writers are good at things?

(I kid, mostly)

I don't think you're going to find anyone who disagrees with you, dear.

By T`Pooh on Thursday, October 06, 2005 - 6:24 pm:

Has anyone watched that Commander-in-Chief show? I kept comparing it, unfavorably, with West Wing.

By Hannah F., West Wing/C&J Moderator (Cynicalchick) on Thursday, October 06, 2005 - 8:22 pm:

I'd like to see it, but it's on at the same time as House.

By Sparrow47 on Thursday, October 06, 2005 - 9:16 pm:

...which is on at the same time as The Amazing Race. Busy time slot.

By Jesse on Saturday, October 08, 2005 - 11:10 pm:

The post-Sorkin writers are better than Sorkin ever was. (IMHO)

By Harvey Kitzman on Sunday, October 09, 2005 - 2:13 pm:

Anyone want to post thoughts on who the leak is?

My wife an I think it is Margaret. CJ's calls would go through her, so Margaret could call the NY Times guy it would look like CJ called him. She also was pregnant last season, so she might want off the show to care for a baby.
