The Andromeda crew visit Earth.

According to the official website:

Then, in "Bunker Hill" we go where the crew of The Andromeda Ascendant has never gone before: Earth. It's an all out revolutionary war when Harper joins his cousin in a battle to save the once 'mother planet' from the Nietzschean occupation. Oh, and did we mention that the Nietzscheans are at war with themselves at the same time. Dylan can't be two places at one, can he?

What was Elsibet thinking? She's _Nietzshean_, a highly trained Nietzschean. And she declares that destroying drones is a "victory"?

And whatever got into her infected Dylan, too; he certainly had an interesting definition of the word "win" there.

He made the best of a bad deal with the Alliance, but--"we won"?

And he completely flubbed the earth thing. Sure--Slave planets all over are rebelling. And perhaps, if they are very, very lucky, ONE of them will actually succeed in driving the Nietscheans off. So, again, "we won"?

On another note, what was the point of sending Tyr to carry the message? He's the _last_ person who should go into a fight between the Drago-K pride & a bunch of humans in revolt. Especially since he didn't do anything. Why not send a buoy? It could have carried the same message, and then Dylan would have had more than three people to order to "Battle stations!"

Oh--and why were Rommie & Harper spectating during most of the revolt? We've seen Rommie fight before, and she's formidable. It's true that later she took advantage of who and what she was to hack into the communications grid, but before that?

Everyone involved seems to have checked their brains into a locker for the episode. No wonder Trance and Rev Bem were elsewhere!

However--I did like the discussion between Elsibet and Bekka (and the earlier one between Rommie and Bekka: "It wouldn't be the first time." "What?!")

So does this mean that Dylan has/had the kirk syndrome. ie a woman in every port and a port in every woman? I think I am starting to get into this sci-fi stuff. although what's with this whole destroyed earth thing anyhow. I thaught this show took place thousands of years in the future? The buildings didn't look too different than they do nowadays. The revolutionary war thing was played rather heavy handed wudnt it? Next weeks looks kinda strange.

Elsibet said she had her ovaries removed back in The Honey Offering, yet now she is pregnant. While it is easily possible to reinsert the egss two things come in mind:

1. How would they do so without the other half of the Sabra-Jaguar alliance knowing.
2. Why. While important to hold up deceptions, I see the war only prolonging their eventual vengence. If the deep-seated conflict was as bad as Elsibet claimed it was, deep feelings of anger and want for vengence would not go away so easily. While technically the conflicts with the Dragons could last long enough to overshadow the hard feelings between Sabra and Jaguar.

It is very much possible to just have kept some of her eggs and allow her to continue as planned once they emerge victorious. It is unknown how Neitzcheans feels for their children, and those children born between Charlemaine and Elsibet could very well be seen as acceotable casualties.

Wasn't there an earlier episode that established that earth had been overrun by Magog? I believe thta's the basis of Harper's original overwhelming fear of the Magog.

So where'd they go? When'd the Nietzchiens take over? Was this mentioned in a previous episode?

Are there any Andromeda timelines around?

The Magog invaded Earth, and did what they do; kill, infest, then leave.
