"IF THE WHEEL IS FIXED"

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Andromeda: Season Three: "IF THE WHEEL IS FIXED"

The Andromeda crew tries to rescue Beka and Tyr, while attempting to also permanently close the tunnel.

It's no wonder that there are no posts regarding this episode yet. I am still so completely dumb-founded, that I don't know what to say. *I* could have written a better script and I am no script writer. Heck, my 11 year old could have written a better script.

The season opener begins where the finale ended: An empty Maru returning to the Andromeda with no Tyr or Beka in sight. The rest of the show was a complete mess, with Harper magically having some device that puts the ship into the dimensional tunnel. Then it's in the tunnel, out of the tunnel, in again, out again. And the magical appearance by Tyr and Beka which goes *completely* unexplained. Yet even though they seemingly appear out of THIN AIR!, no one questions their return or their EXTREMELY odd behavior that even a TWO YEAR OLD would recognize as some sort of alien possession. No, no isolation or check-up for the formerly missing crew mates, just free reign of the ship, and you know what that means.

Ugh! I have to stop! I'm getting nauseous just recalling it all.

Only one nit: The SCRIPT! From start to finish.

Did Fred Freiberger take over or something?

It was not a good episode. But I do apologize for not getting a summary in. I hope the rest of the season will be better.

It still hasn't aired here in Chicago yet. This weekend, it will.

It did seem as though someone had taken it, chopped it to bits, shaken, and then pieced the bits together without looking first.

And that is the _nice_ version of my review.

If _you_ were as confused by this ep as _I_ was, gimme a hell yeah! Talk about getting the season off to a flying STOP.

I agree completely with Kate. It was unbelievable what a mess this episode was! I hope this is not a prediction of what the rest of the season will be like. As Kate said, when Tir and Beka reappeared, it was like there were no questions asked (other than "where were you?" "we don't know!") Well, DUH! Let's not have Romy check them out or anything, just give them free reign! And then wonder why things start going wrong! Take three-quarters of the episode to figure out the problems MIGHT be linked to Tir and Beka! Help!
