Tony Todd guest stars in this episode as a Captian of a ship that launched from Earth before Earth was admitted into the Commonwealth.

The title comes from the poem Ozymandias by Shelly.

Not a bad episode. Hopefully it won't be the exception this year.

Colored shoulder pads. Hmmmm... Remind anyone of any other Roddenberry based program? ;-)

Okay, Rommie's fighting this guy and she is holding both his hands, then she has to let go to punch him. Ummm, isn't Rommie's head made out of metal? Couldn't she head butt the guy into unconsciousness?

I'm glad they got rid of the "Egyptian" style haircut on Rommie. Lexa Doig looks so much better with the "original" hairstyle.

I'm surprised that the Bellerophon didn't encounter either Magog, Nietzcheans, Calderans or any other assorted scum of the stars earlier on.
Still, an okay episode; three in a row! After "If The Wheel Is Fixed" I was worried.

"Lexa Doig looks so much better with the 'original' hairstyle."

Too right; that _other_ one made Milla Jovovich's orange fright wig in "The Fifth Element" look restrained.

I was wondering if they were passing through sectors of space that were off the main slipstream routes and in areas of worlds that were not as developed as the rest of the galaxy. I am assuming though they were in one of three main galaxies (Milky Way, Andromeda, and Triaglum) not the fourth one that was mentioned in the next episode.

By ScottN on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 - 9:40 am:

Well, since the Bellerophon was a sublight ship, unless they hit a wormhole or something, they had to be within about 3-4000 light years of Earth.

Trig, I believe the third galaxy is spelled Triangulum, not Triaglum. It's named after the constellation it appears to be in when seen from Earth.
