The basic idea is similiar to the STNG ep.
Cause And Effect with the difference being we never learn the motivation of the unnamed enemy or whoever they are.

The ending where Dylan asks Trance how she can
tell what's real if she can determine a million
possible outcomes to the same event in the blink of an eye and she says she can't was surreal,to say the least.

If she can't tell which is real, then why does she struggle to come up with the right one? Wouldn't they all seem right, as far as she knows?
