The Slipfighter training were scenes were incredibly boring I felt. Was there actually a plot in the is episode?

I think one of the best scenes of the ep.was the
Girl's Bonding Scene in the Maru when Becca goes to talk to Trance and Andromeda about the trouble they're having with Tyr and they start out with this laid back style of conversation with Andromeda in the hammock.:)

I think the writers went on vacation for this episode. I hope it gets better. I agree that the slipfighter practice scene was boring and too long.

Slipfighter The Dogs Of War. *ugh* That's a clumsy sounding title. Sounds like the writer was trying to be punny... and failed. At least when Dylan used the phrase in the show he paused between the first word & second. The title should have either a colon or a comma in it.

Marduk was a god of war. Using that name for a planet that is preparing for war, was just too coincidental.

When the Doublemint Twins were showing the dying pilot, I thought, 'Easy payday. Just scream and die.'

The Falling Leaf manuevers in space just didn't look right. Some of the motions seemed... jerky, for lack of a better description.

Tyr's lack of confidence seemed really forced.

The reference to Angel Dark, Demon Bright seemed to reinforce the idea that Trance deliberately took them back in time. (Someone on that board brought up the theory.)

Did it seem like Dylan's slipfighter was the only one with a backseat? And how will Becka pick up the other three?

Trance & Dylan walk right into trouble & I wondered why she didn't use her probability sensing talent. Then after Tyr & his big gun show up, she starts using it.

Good thing that bomb didn't set off the Voltarium. "Good news. Marduk can no longer produce Nova bombs. Bad news. Marduk no longer exists."

IIRC Marduk was the main god of the Babylonians like Zeus for the Greeks.

By Thande on Monday, November 17, 2003 - 2:26 pm:

Yes. Marduk was Babylonian. Babylon. What's the contemporary country occupying the area of Babylonia? Yes, that's right - IRAQ. And the Marduk-ians are trying to get weapons of mass destruction. Hmm...well, at least it's topical...
