The hardest part of this ep. was trying to picture Harper as the main villian.

I think Harper would have made a more believable Man In Charge if he had been in actual clothes. Maybe with sleeves, even.
I think that the main problem with this episode was scale. They said the High Guard assassinated the Triumvirate and declared martial law, right?
Harper is 'legitimately' in charge of either the planet or the Commonwealth, the dialog could support either.
Neither is consistent with running around with six goons, trying to catch 'General' Valentine and her one subordinate.
And in the end, running around in one ex-High Guard battleship may work After The Fall, but not so much when you're fighting the entire, corrupted High Guard, with many many battleships.
Scale, people, scale.
