*SPOILER ALERT!*

Gunn meets up with his old gang, which has a new demonhating, demon killing rogue member, and the gang all start randomly killing demons. Angel suggests to Cordy that she talk to Fred and tell her that she needs to get out more. Cordy offers to take her out herself, so of course they go to Lorne's demon bar, where Gunn's former gang later busts in and start killing demons there. Demons inside the bar are unable to fight back cuz of some spell that Lorne pays the 3 Fates (I think it was) to have to protect the bar to prevent demons from fighting each other (I'd forgotten about that). Angel has Cordy talk to the Fates to lift it for the moment, which they do and then of course Angel's able to fight the gang. Two funny parts were when it dawned on Cordy that the Fates were subtlely talking about having had sex with Angel before (everytime she says his name they repeat it in breathy remembrance), and the other is when one of the two demons spared (other than Lorne) morphs into a giant winged creature that bites the head off of the gang's new rogue member.

NNAN. Gunn sticks a 3-edged arrowhead into his back pocket. I should think a better choice would be a jacket pocket as bending over or sitting down could lead to a painful end.

So did Angel have sex with these fates after he became a vamp? They didn't call him Angelus which most people call his evil vampire self. Of course, since Angel had sex with Darla & didn't become Angelus it would probably be alright to 'repay' the fates since there wouldn't be any love attached to the act.

And it could be possible (althought quite remote) that Angel never really reached the peak of his love, if you know what I mean.

About the "No demon fighting in the Karaoke Bar", didn't the loosed demon from The Host's world attack a bunch of people when he first came through? Is it not counted as a demon or something?

After all that saccahrine that Cordie had to
put up with I bet she probably felt like she
was developing diabetes!

This ep is one of the few times we really
get to see Wesley really angry.

Ya had to know the rogue demon hunter was a
goner when he was standing in front of that
one demon and it's head started to open up
wide.

The Host never gets around to telling why the
guy left Miami in the first place!

great host line:"It's blaring from you like
a billboard!"on Gunn's mental state.

Can't anyone who goes to that bar sing?

By MarkN on Thursday, October 11, 2001 - 1:50 am:

I wouldn't doubt if any of those who warbled onscreen could actually sing. I think Boreanz is supposed to be fairly good at it, isn't he?

By MarkN on Thursday, October 11, 2001 - 11:48 pm:

Come to think of it, Andy "Lorne, the Host" Hallett is a real singer, as he's proven that on the show already. In fact, according to IMDb.com, he was seen singing and that's how he got the job, his first time acting ever.
