I only have one comment.
Poor Wesley.
So, Angel did consume his son, and while that was the statement of the Oracle at McDonalds, that is not the prophecy Wesley translated.
I also have to question why Wesley did not see that coming -- he knew Justine lost a sister, was highly devoted, and that Holtz would do *anything* to get what he wanted.
Also, it appears that time traveling Demons do not have any concept of temporal cause and effect: Angel never met Sahjhan before, so presumably Sahjhan has traveled backwards in time to prevent Angel (or perhaps Connor) from doing whatever it is that he will do. Well, now that Angel is aware of Sahjhan, he's likely to seek him out and do whatever it is that he was going to do. (IE Sahjhan has likely put into effect what it was that he wished to prevent)

It's the oracle of Delphi effect, like in Oedipus Rex. Speaking of which, now that Holst and Connor are off in some hellish demension, (and remember that in the Buffyverse, time passes more quickly in hellish demensions), it is possible that Angel will soon have to defend himself from an attack from one of Holst's followers, only to learn too late (or almost too late) that it is Connor.(Not spoiler, just speculation.)
BTW it's nice to se someone using i.e. properly ("that is to say...") when most people confuse it with e.g.("for example...")
Perhaps Sahjan is Connor? Ok that's a little too trippy even for me....
Zoriah
I expect we'll next see Connor as a grown man when either Angel travels to that dimension or Connor emerges from it in some later ep. I also thought, "Oh, come on, Wes! She's obviously faking it!" when that chick was playing hurt. I didn't expect to see her cut Wesley's throat, let alone that it'd be so graphic for free TV. Ok, so the blood wasn't exactly spurting like in a Monty Python skit but still.
So...um....is Wes dead?
Would it be a nitpick if he wasn't?
Can people live from something like that? I mean theoretically, sure - but would it REALLY be stretching credulity if he survives this?
In terms of Buffyverse precednt, seems Kendra died pretty quickly after Dru cut hers.
Yeah. First, Wes is shot, then he gets his throat slashed, and now he may die (and I forget what else has happened to him). Can this guy get any more unlucky?
Upon firther reflection, seems to me there's really own 1 possible way Wesley can be alive: Justine, a trained killer, cut his throat in a way that would not kill him. It's would make no sense that if she meant ot kill him, she couldn't.
