AN interesting episode, it was mainly there to move the story arc along. I think the scenes with Wesley were very well done. My only question is why would fred let Gunn off the hook so easily, I mean he sold his soul for a truck, how many girlfriends would be ok with that.
I think Fred didn't make such a big deal about the fact that Gunn sold his soul for a truck because of two things: (1) at the time he made the deal, he didn't really understand the full ramifications of the deal, and (2) the truck in question was probably intended by Gunn at the outset to be an instrument in his fight against vampires. The episode didn't make it clear whether or not Gunn was actually fighting vampires "seven years ago", but it is possible.
It's amazing how someone as good looking as Charisma Carpenter can look like so bad with a change of hair. Whoever looks after her hair should be taken out and shot.
Finally saw this ep. on TNT yesterday.
What I found interesting was that the ep.
showed how far Angel and Cordie had come in their relationship in that Cordie knew that when
Angel handed her the stake and told her to
"make it quick" he meant for her to stake the
demon casino owner's hand and not Angel.
It also seemed like an Angel/Cordie versus
Gunn/Fred ep.as part of the ep.was focused on
Angel and Cordie's relationship and the other on
Gunn and Fred's.
