This episode aired on April 23, 2003 in the US.
At the end, the Angel crew (minus Angel) were obviously killing the followers of Jasmine -- based upon what we saw happen to Jasmine. Since at this stage they had no qualms killing the followers, why not open up the gateway portal right in front of the doorway? That way the Jasmine followers rush in and get transported straight to a dimension where they can't breathe. This would have saved not only Angel, but also the rest of the gang. Then, once all the Jasmine possessed people had been defeated, the portal could have been opened and Angel could have gone through.
This could be called The Invasion Of The Bug People with all those BIG creepy crawler demons at the end.
Interesting that Bug Person # 1 (the priest bug person) is fooled into telling Wes that the one thing that can defeat Jasmine is her true name.
I believe that goes back to the ancient belief that knowing a person,god,goddess,demon's,etc.
REAL name gives the other person control over them.(E.G.Rumpelstilskin gets into a rage once the
woodcarver's daugther/princess learns his name;in
Genesis Jacob keeps grasping the Angel until he tells Jacob his name,etc.)
It appears that Jasmine absorbed Cordie's body along with the other people she's "eaten".
(I think absorbtion is a better description than
eating as Jasmine doesn't LITERALLY eat her victims,she absorbs them.)
You know it would be cool if all West Coast Nitpickers started saying great things about Jasmine in their posts 
Angel probably should have stuck around for the fight at the end. "Yoko Factor" anyone?

Sunnydale is abandoned at this stage, there is no electricity or television, which explains why Jasmine has had no effect on the Scooby Gang.
Who was bug person #1 (copyright Scott McCleney )? The voice sounded very familiar, but I couldn't place it and didn't recognise any of the guest star names.
