Sorry for the delay in setting this up. Will add more episodes when I'm off work.

The beginning of this didn't make a lot of sense to me. Why would Wolfram & Hart be interested in promoting Angel's saving this girl? And if the girl did sign the clause involving her immortal soul did Angel really save her?

How much time has passed between this episode & last? Gunn seems to have grown some hair, but Fred is still getting lost?

Eve annoyed me. She comes off more like a writer's gimmick than as a character. Should have used Lilah as liason, at least she had a personality. Hopefully future episodes will flesh out Eve's personality.

In the last episode it seemed to me that Wolfram & Hart had abandoned Earth & had given Angel the law firm, here it seems like they still have an interest in earth. NNAN though, as the Senior Partners seem very much like sleezy lawyers, so changing the agreement seems in character.

So who dug down through the rubble, recovered the amulet & then mailed it to Angel? I guess we find out next episode.

It seems like Lilah made it clear that wolfram and hart were only giving away the LA branch. This episode is very hard to judge since it seems to be part of a 2 part show. I think this story line has potential hopefully the writers will do it right.

I think what was more surprising than the way they got Spike back among the living was the way that Harmony got into the mix.Angel's expression when he finds out his new office assistant/secretary is Harmony was priceless!:)

Everyone seems to hate Eve. Hmm.

Not here, I mean just in the places I've seen discussion on this episode.

Okay, I really thought I'd hate Harmony. But she was freakin' great. Especially that last line.

I think I read somewhere that this takes place 19 days after Chosen. So it's not too long at all. Though you'd think Angel would have met his secretary by then. I guess it's the first time on the job for them. A little "you destroyed world peace, you deserve some transition time" break.

KAM: o who dug down through the rubble, recovered the amulet & then mailed it to Angel? I guess we find out next episode.
I think it's a question the creators won't answer for a while.

The problem with Eve is that she seems to be a writer's crutch. Need something explained? Use Eve. Need to give a character motivation? Use Eve. Etc., etc. She doesn't seem to have a personality other than doling out info or trying to be sexy.

One interesting thing I forgot to post last time. The lawyer mentions the DA's shamans. Most of the time authority figures of the Buffy/Angelverse tend to be oblivious to demons & magic, except for the Initiative which went bad & the cop resurrecting the dead cops in a previous episode, but here in a throwaway line it's revealed that knowledge & use of magic is more widespread & possibly common.

The DA having shamans could be a recent thing though. Remember that Lindsay left in season 2. He had to support himself somehow after departing W&H... he could have sold information to the police on why they could never seem to get any W&H clients behind bars.
