Spike: Spoon?
I guess the Ben Edlund who co-wrote this episode is the Ben Edlund who created The Tick. ;-)
For a minute there I thought that they renamed the show SPIKE or THE JAMES AND MERCEDES SHOW.
James Marsters clearly dominated every scene he was in in this ep. except the ones that he shared with Mercedes McNabb who is an even bigger scene
stealer than he is.
Clearly David Boreanaz and the rest of the regulars are going to have their work cut out for them if they don't wish to end up playing second fiddle to the tag team of James & Mercedes!
Hmm, I don't think I liked this one as much as I thought I would. Something just seemed off.
I was wondering why Spike was going bad again and didn't realize until Spike was getting sucked into the Necromancer that it was probably a trap.
SPOILER WARNING
So, Spike's being sucked into hell. Poor fellow, but hey, that's where vamps go. Even the ones that save the world I guess.
Did James' accent seem a little different in this one? Is he forgetting how to speak like a Brit?
I guess the Ben Edlund who co-wrote this episode is the Ben Edlund who created The Tick. ;-)
The IMDB seems to think so.
