NIT: Spike is annoyed about the loss of his trophy duster - but is this the trophy duster? Didn't that burn along with him in "Chosen"?

That said, this episode seems to have no place whatsoever in the current arc. The transition from "Fred's dead" to "Buffy likes me better" to "Not Fade Away" is just a jarring one. Also, as AtS progresses, I'm finding it more and more strange that any of these dark, doom-laden vampires would pine after a twenty-something would-be-cheerleader. I realize Buffy is not quite the ditz she once was, but still ... they've come a long way towards darkness since they left Sunnydale for L.A., whereas the end of BtVS pretty much implied that Buffy could now live a normal life and be free of her Slayer burden.

That also goes for the idea that Buffy & Co don't trust Angel & Co now that the latter run W&H. Given who the Scoobie Gang consists of, and how dumb some of these people are (especially Xander "Let's Summon a Dancing Demon For Fun"), the idea that Angel & Co would CARE strikes me as unbelievable.

Also, on an unrelated note, did anyone ever think of informing the Scoobies that Cordelia is dead? I'm thinking Buffy (and Xander) might want to know. Was there a funeral?
