William Daniels (Voice of KITT)
KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) is the car used by Michael Knight throughout the series. Among other things, the car can talk (it even has it's own "personality"), jump through the air, and drive on two wheels. In later seasons, KITT can also become a convertible and launch into a super-fast driving mode. KITT's primary function is to protect human life.

This also gives the show a lot of it's humor,especially KITT's some times naive literalism that crop up every now and a then;since as a machine he has a tendency to take some of Michael's comments more literally than he
ought to at times.
