After successfully completing several missions, Michael asks Devon for a vacation, which Devon grants. Michael heads to the small town of White Rock for some rock climbing, and meets a beautiful store owner named Sherri and her little brother Davey. Michael also runs into the local sheriff, who is complacent towards criminals and believes "It takes two to make an argument." Michael eventually does go rock climbing, but in the meantime a biker gang has come into town and run rampant on it's citizens, including Sherri and Davey. When one of the bikers returns and tries to fight Michael, Michael dispatches him. Unfortunately, the sheriff arrests Michael instead and impounds KITT. KITT escapes and joins up with Michael (who escaped himself). Michael heads to the outskirts of the town, where he learns that the biker gang is to meet a rival gang soon and they will have a gang war at White Rock. Michael and Sherri eventually convince the sheriff and some of the townspeople to fight back against the gang members, and as a diversion Michael takes KITT and they scatter some of the gang members themselves. Soon, the gang members reach town, but are surprised by the sheriff and the townspeople. When the rival gang arrives, they see what has happened and turn back, out of town. As the episode ends, Michael takes a vacation for real, with Sherri.
THOUGHTS:
-Overall a fairly unexciting episode, though there were some nice shots of KITT in the chase scenes.
-I liked the interplay between Michael and Devon at the beginning and again at the end of the episode, especially when Michael orders a hamburger at the classy restaurant.
-Also a cute moment when KITT lets Michael come up with a plan so Michael can believe he "out-thought" KITT.
-The opening title sequence now includes the narration by Richard Baseheart (Wilton Knight).
-New feature on KITT:
+This is the first episode where Michael uses his wristwatch to communicate with KITT.

NITS:
-Michael tells KITT to get some sun, but won't KITT be really hot inside when he gets back in?
-As KITT escapes from the impound lot, two lovers make out in the back seat of the car in front. How did they get in there if the lot is locked down?
-It was pretty easy for Michael to untie Davey, wasn't it?
-Why doesn't Michael activate KITT's smoke screen to confuse the bikers?
-The rope doesn't look that taut when it hits the bikers.
-At the end of the episode when Michael sets KITT on auto-cruise, KITT's red scanning light doesn't turn on.
