With KITT heavily damaged, Michael's resolve is now to stop Garth at all costs. Garth, meanwhile, is planning to steal tactical missiles from a military base using Goliath and some African commandos. April gives Michael an explosive to plant on Goliath, and as a contingency plan, equips the newly repaired KITT with a laser pack. Impersonating Garth, Michael gets close to Goliath but isn't able to plant the explosive. Michael is helpless as he witnesses Garth steal the missiles, but escapes when the time is right. Using KITT's laser system, Michael stops Garth from completing his plan to sell the missiles to his African associate. Goliath is destroyed.
THOUGHTS: -Exciting, but what happened to the ending (see below)?

-Also fun stuff with KITT calling Goliath things like a "mechanical brute" throughout the episode.
-For all of the corniness in the episode, there is a really nice shot with Michael coming face-to-face with Garth in the casino.

NITS: -At the end of part 1, KITT's hood has a big dent in it, but in this episode it looks more like a bend, and has paint scratched off of it.
-Why didn't Michael just push KITT over instead of trying to drive on KITT's side?
-Why didn't Devon put at least one guard on Garth? And why no security cameras?
-When Garth escapes, he steals a car from some guy. Garth actually only hits the guy on the shoulder but the guy still gets knocked out!
-As Garth and company steal the missiles, Michael and Elizabeth watch from a tv set. Where are the camera shots of the theft coming from (especially the ones from inside the military compound after Goliath leaves)?
-Apparently the door to Red Bluff isn't really made of lead, it's made of painted styrofoam!
-KITT gets some kind of dirt on the windshield at the end, which disappears in the next shot.
-KITT is dusty before shooting the laser at Goliath the last time, then in the next shot KITT is shiny again.
-The fight scene is hilarious, even with a stunt double. It's like something out of the original Star Trek!
-Did the ending of the show get cut off or something? What happened to Kume, his men, the missiles, Elizabeth, and Garth in the end?
