K.I.T.T. the Cat

Grace Fallon has a problem. Her father was a thief who died a month ago, and now several copycat burglaries have taken place in the same style he perpetrated them with. Grace seems to be innocent of these new crimes, but some strange facts hinder Michael's investigation. For one thing, Grace's father had a list of future targets, all of whom have been burglarized recently, and Grace knows all of their names. Furthermore, all of the men who have been burglrized got their riches illegally. Michael accompanies Grace to a party at the next target's club, but Grace disappears when a burglary takes place, leaving Michael to believe she did the deed. When Michael goes back to her house, though, KITT finds that her butler's car is warm and later Michael finds out the butler has been faking an old war injury for a limp. As fate would have it, the last name on the burglary list has been arrested, so Michael has Devon throw a party in order to find out if either Grace or Griffin (the butler) is the burglar. It turns out to be both of them - when Grace found out what Griffin was doing, she took the fall for him. Michael and the Foundation decide to let the duo go - after all, they were only stealing from people who deserved to be robbed in the first place.

THOUGHTS:
-Nice show.

-I'm sure you noticed that Geena Davis herself played Grace Fallon.

-There's a nice touch in this episode as Michael talks to KITT outside of the last victim's office. A girl walks by and when Michael starts talking, she looks at him with puzzlement (I know this happens a lot during the series, but it's still nice to know!).

FAVORITE QUOTE:
"Orchestra! Do we really need an orchestra?"
-Devon, about footing the bills for the final party.

NITS:
-Twice in this episode, KITT gear shifts to drive, but goes in reverse. Once when backing from the tree at Grace's house, and again when heading for the roof at the end of the episode.

-There's a nice sequence where KITT turbo boosts onto a roof and we clearly see the bottom of KITT at having the usual car parts. The second turbo boost, however, shows the bottom of KITT as flat!

-I wonder if April got her necklace back.

-Shouldn't one of the burglaring duo have at least had to pay a fine? They did, after all, burglarize several people!
