Garth puts Michael in a cell (converted from Garth's cell in the African prison) and KITT into a garage. Adrian puts an ultimatum to Michael - back her up or die - and Michael refuses. After the (recorded) conversation, Michael has KITT manipulate Adrian's voice to fool the guards and escape, after which he frees KITT and is told by Devon to rescue Bergstrom's niece first. Michael rescues her and exposes the fraud Bergstrom, but when he gets back to Adrian's mansion he finds Garth and Adrian gone and a submarine approaching shore - for Garth and Adrian to deliver Bergstrom to some Russian smugglers. After freeing Devon and April (and having them send a message to the military to blockade Goliath), Michael and KITT head for Goliath. Michael rescues Bergstrom from inside the semi and points KITT towards a cliffside, where he shoots KITT's grappling hook. KITT safely stops at the edge, while Goliath plows over it.
THOUGHTS: -Okay ending to the two-parter but it seemed to end too fast (see below).
-There's a short but great scene where April chews Garth out and he actually is left without a retort. Rebecca Holden's acting is wonderful.
-Star Trek actor watch: Peter Mark Richman (as Dr. Klaus Bergstrom) played Offenhouse in "The Neutral Zone" (TNG).
New feature on KITT: +I think this is the first time KITT pops his HOOD.

NITS: -Adrian Margot is called "Adrian St. Clair" in the credits.
-Garth's moustache still looks fake.
-After repairing KITT in the garage, there is a shot of KITT's scanner where the hood is down, but it's supposed to still be up.
-In one of the shots of Michael in KITT heading back to Christina's hotel, the sound of KITT speeding past the camera is double-dubbed.
-KITT is flat on the turbo boost over the trailer wreckage. Also, KITT's tires look different during those shots (whiter).
-Why weren't there any guards IN the trailer with Bergstrom? What happened to all the guys who delivered him to Goliath's location to begin with?
-Goliath's rear doors close again after Michael rescues Bergstrom.
-For some reason Goliath has a "roaring" sound when it goes down. Pretty cheesy if you ask me!
