I must say that, like most people, I didn't like April at first either. I thought she was basically brought in for sex appeal and little else (look at the getup she wore to fix KITT at the end of "Return to Cadiz," for instance).
The thing about that is that by the end of season 2, I actually LIKED April! She seemed to get lot more fleshed out as the season progressed, and Rebecca Holden actually did an excellent job during many episodes ("Race For Life," the confrontation with Garth at the end of "Goliath Returns, Part 2").
It's too bad we didn't have more time to get to know her.
I love Bonnie, but I did miss April with the start of season 3.
