Holston pays off a nightclub owner to use his basement for the planned digging, which Jackson and Wong participate in. Later, Margo invites Michael to dinner. On the way there, Michael and KITT are attacked by another automated car - the first missile misses, but the second severely damages KITT (KITT saves Michael by ejecting him out before impact). Bonnie goes to work on KITT while Michael goes ahead to meet a surprised Margo. Michael is caught sneaking around the mansion, but escapes with a computer component. With KITT rebuilt, Bonnie heads back to the university to test the component, but she is kidnapped by Holston after she finds out the component was part of a surveillance satellite designed by Holston years earlier. In fact, the whole robbery plan was a lie - Holston just wanted to steal his satellite back from a government vault so he could get credit for it when Margo sold it to the highest bidder. Jackson and Wong are killed by Holston and Bonnie is taken with him when he and Margo try to leave town with the stolen satellite. Michael takes KITT and chases after them, and have to go through two more automated vehicles before they finally catch the pair. As the episode ends, Michael finally gets to have his San Fransisco vacation, and Bonnie rejoins the Foundation.
THOUGHTS: -Nice episode with excellent pacing. Good to have Bonnie back, though in this episode she mainly plays as a kidnapping victim.
-Fun stuff with Bonnie not wanting Michael or Devon to peek at the rebuilt KITT (like a kid waiting to reveal a cleaned room), and later with Michael having the musclemen tell him everything they know while at the mercy of a water pistol!
-For some reason, SciFi Channel cut out the entire scene where Michael and Devon check out KITT's new dash.
-The last shot of the episode features KITT on a San Fransisco bridge, not the usual purple haze outtro. Not really a nit, just a note.
New features on KITT: +New dash (with one big screen instead of two small ones). +Voltage Induction Coil. +ATX Surveillance System. +Traffic Control System. +And, of course, the light-up accelerator pedal!

NITS: -Michael has KITT turbo boost to avoid the first missile but why not try another turbo boost, or ski mode or an oil slick to avoid the second?
-The angle from the automated car targeting KITT's tail-end is actually a shot from a previous episode.
-Holston tells Margo he's "not a murderer" but by that point he has already tried to kill Michael by blowing up KITT.
-Michael clamps KITT's voltage induction coil to Margo's gate to shock the two musclemen, but he apparently didn't take it off when he drove away.
-Somehow KITT gets a shot of the Golden Fox Club while he's still in the FLAG semi.
-When Holston starts up the autocar during the chase at the end of the show, one of the sounds the car makes is the same sound used for KITT's surveillance mode.
-The camera angle of the second autocar's missile is actually just a flip of the shot of the first autocar's missile.
-One of Michael's grunts during the fight with Holston is dubbed twice.
