Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Knight Rider: Season 3: Knightlines
Knightlines

Michael is dispatched to investigate the death of Kevin Morgan, an engineer killed apparently while snooping around the construction site of his employer, Macroplex Inc. Michael visits with Janet Morgan and eventually finds a bugging device in her garage, which Kevin apparently stole from Macroplex. When Michael tails Steve Barnes, Kevin's boss, he finds that Barnes is in league with a man called Soltis. In fact, Soltis has paid Barnes off to look the other way while Soltis has used dozens of bugging devices to steal Macroplex's company secrets. Michael needs one more piece of evidence, so he sneaks around Macroplex at night and finds another device before he is nearly killed while escaping by Barnes's hired help. A special feature of the bugging devices is that they have a time bomb hidden inside which could kill a man instantly. Michael tries to blackmail Barnes by trading the picture of BArnes and Soltis for a cash payoff, but a vengeful Janet arrives, ready to kill Barnes for murdering her husband. Michael stops her, but Barnes returns to Macroplex to attempt to blow up the entire building using a nearby generator. Michael and KITT are able to stop the demolition from taking place, and both Barnes and Soltis are caught before they cn escape.

THOUGHTS:
-Somewhat confusing episode until the second half. Still okay to watch.

-Fun stuff with KITT reviewing "rock band names" and offering his own suggestions.

-And KITT teaching Billy that history is fun! So is science! Sure.

New feature on KITT:
+Ultrasonic Frequency (distracts dogs)

FAVORITE QUOTE:
"Corrupting innocent youth?"
-Michael to KITT, who had just given Billy a physics lesson.

NITS:
-When KITT can't scan a certain containet in Janet's house, he tells Michael it is on the top shelf but then Michael reaches into the next-to-top shelf to find the bugging device.

-The shot of KITT exiting the semi is from "Knight of the Drones, Part 2."

-The shots of KITT when KITT loses traction because of a mud hole obviously use a cheap model of KITT rather than the actual car. You can tell because the "hubcaps" have screws through their centers!

Michael needs to work on his disguise in this ep.
as the sun glasses he wears look a little too
fashionable to be worn on a construction site.
