During a display performance by the "Flying Majors" at the Circus Major, Peter Major falls to his death. Peter, a perfectionist, was sweating profusely and seemed extremely nervous just before the swing. Michael believes the death was not accidental, so he goes in as "Turbo Man" with KITT and wins a contract with the circus through Teri Major, Peter's sister. While signing the contract, Michael smells smoke and finds the costume tent on fire. KITT is able to stop the fire before it causes too much damage, but the two performers in on the fire ("Tiger woman" and "Bombo the Clown") notice him snooping around the area. Michael finds a plastic explosive in the charred remains of the tent. KITT finds out that a holding company called ITZ has been trying to buy the circus from banker Jeff Barnes, who Teri pays directly every month. In fact, Barnes is on ITZ's payroll...ITZ holds a shipyard nearby the circus land and wants to build a warehouse for it's assembly plants nearby. During the first performance by Turbo Man, an explosive placed near KITT's tires nearly kills Michael but luckily he is okay. Devon and Bonnie search through the video of Peter's performance and find evidence of a muscle relaxant in his system, meaning someone close had to deliver it into his body before the performance. Knowing Tiger uses fire in her act, Michael snoops around her tenet and finds another explosive. Michael has Tiger arrested, but Bombo kidnaps Teri from her tent, knocking Devon unconscious in the process. Michael gives chase to a warehouse nearby and comes upon Bombo and Barnes, who are in a clown car which has a napalm flame thrower instead of a water gun. After KITT turbo boosts through the flame thrower, Michael takes care of Barnes and saves Teri. As the episode ends, we learn that Teri has hired a new flyer and that the circus will go on.
THOUGHTS: -Nice episode, though very much like "Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular" (season 1).
-I liked the fact that KITT mentioned his pyroclastic lamination, which April installed way back in "Ring of Fire" (season 2).
-Cool lights on KITT during the circus performance.

NITS: -At least twice in this episode, during close-ups of KITT's front, you can see KITT's hood is popped slightly open (something present throughout the first season).
-Right after checking on Devon in the tent, Michael races to save Teri. If you look closely, you will see that Michael puts KITT into "D" first but KITT moves into reverse. Then he puts KITT into "R" but KITT moves forwards.
