During a rehearsal for singer Charlie Connors (in a Chicago theater), a group of hitmen trash the joint and beat up it's owner, Josh Bevins. Since the incident happens in RC3's old neighborhood, he joins Michael in the investigation and turns up an old ally named Keith Lawson. Lawson, who now owns a realty firm, greets RC3 but soon runs out of patience when he realizes he's being questioned. Meanwhile, Bevins checks himself out of the hospital and since Michael suspects he is heading for Lawson's, he goes there first. Lawson doesn't take kindly to Michael's presence, and he and his men nearly kill Michael before he can escape. Lawson is planning to muscle in on the theater property and develop the entire area into a mall, while Bevins simply wants to keep the theater in it's current state. The trail leads back to A.G. Sanford Construction, which has been working with Lawson on all of his illegal acquisitions. After RC3 questions Lawson again and he knocks out RC3, Sanford gives Lawson 24 hours to scare the residents into submission. With new resolve, RC3 rounds up everyone in the neighborhood to fight against Lawson's men, and the neighborhood succeeds.
THOUGHTS: Many consider this to be the worst episode of KR. Well, I don't know about that but it is pretty bad: -No Turbo Boost/Super Pursuit Mode/Emergency Braking System. -A pathetically acted RC3/Lawson "fight." -A plot way too much like "The A-Team" and not enough like KR. In fact, wasn't there an episode of AT just like this one? -WAY too much singing! I know "Let I Be Me" had singing too but at least it was tolerable there. -"Wa wa wa wa..." What?!

NITS: -When one of the goons jumps the bar rail to mess up the bar, it shakes as if it's not even bolted to the floor.
-The establishing shot of the boat near the patio restaurant comes from "Knight of the Juggernaut, Part2."
-When KITT makes the beats for the kids the second time, the beats show up on KITT's monitor but all the long shots show KITT's monitor as blank.
-Michael's line to KITT (while at Lawson's) "KITT, I need ya buddy" is clearly dubbed.
-Michael jumps out of a high window and lands on a truck without any leg damage?
-The "fight" between RC3 and Lawson is terribly acted.
-Several times in the episode, people call Bevins "Bevin."
