When Rachel first meets Dr. Dr. Franzblau, she greets him by saying, “I’m Carol’s ex-husband’s sister’s roommate.” He responds by saying, “I’m your roommate’s brother’s ex-wife’s obstetrician.” Am I the only one who thought that in real life, no one would remember that chain of relationships that Rachel blurted out when responding to it?
So what does that make us?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Trivia: Leah Remini originally auditioned for the part of Monica on Friends. ironically, the Brooklyn native was told she wasn't "New York enough." Go fig.
Trivia 2: Silverman and hecht later went on to co-star on the Single Guy, a show I actually liked.
Great Lines
Doctor:All Right! Anoyone who is not an ex-husband or a Lesbian Life Partner Get Out!
Chandler:Do I have to be Carol's Lesbian Life Partner?
Some of the episode titles, such as this one and "The One With Two Parts" seem to assume that this show would only have one season (either that or they'd never have an episode with two parts or a birth ever again!!!)
At one point, Chandler suggests that, if he and Monica were still single when they hit 40, that perhaps they should hook up.
And they did hook up, four years after the events there. And both were well under 40 when that happened.
