Up until The One with the Baby on the Bus(2.6), the manager of Central Perk was a guy named Terry, played by ALF’s Max Wright. He told Rachel that he was hiring a professional singer to play at Central Perk, displacing Phoebe. As of The One With Phoebe’s Dad(2.9), the manager of Central Perk was Gunther, played by James Michael Tyler. But after giving Gunther her week’s notice, Rachel is eventually disheartened with her decision, and when Chandler suggest staying where she is, she laments that, “Terry already hired that girl over there.” So Terry is still there? Is he the owner, and Gunther merely the manager? And if Terry retains the position of hiring new staff, why did Rachel tell Gunther to give Joey his job back in The One With the Joke(6.12), and why did Gunther tell Joey in The One Where Paul’s the Man(6.22) that he was planning on firing him again?

Why take the dying trees to Monica and Rachel’s apartment, rather than Phoebe’s?

Where’s the girl’s father at the end of the episode? Why would he just let these two total strangers take her to their apartment?

Also, if Ross is trying to recreate some of the astronomical wonder of a visit to Spacecamp, why doesn’t he just take her to the Haden Planetarium, which would be much better than just covering Chandler and Joey’s apartment in aluminum foil? The One Where Ross and Rachel…You Know(2.15) established that he had access to it.
