The Wikepidea entry on the List of Friends characters lists Tag as Thomas "Tag" Jones.

I guess this comes from the character outline, because I don't recall anyone ever referring to the character by any other name than Tag (perhaps a scene where his real name was revealed was filmed, but cut out).
