Attitudes toward foreign profanity seem to have relaxed over the decades. I remember how in Superman III, after Superman straightened out the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a Pisan street vendor yelled at him, calling him a “stronzo,” (which is the profane word for a piece of excrement), and how, when that movie came to network television, the word was replaced with “stupido,” which meant that the editors were being circumspect even with foreign words.
---But the first sign I remember that things were becoming relaxed was when I first saw Scorpion part I(VOY), in which the Michelangelo hologram, when one of his inventions malfunctions, exclaims, “Che cazzo?” (“Cazzo,” is the profane word for the reproductive male organ.)

In this episode, after Erin tells Rachel and Phoebe that she doesn’t see any long-term future with Joey, Phoebe calls her a “stronzo.”

Wrong thing to nitpick, I know, but that was Leonardo daVinci, not Michelangelo. :) Of course, your comment still stands.
