Great Chandler Comeback:
(After seeing that Ross, reasoning that Chandler is half Scottish, has decided to play the bagpipes at Monica and Chandler’s wedding, and is practicing on them in his apartment across from Monica and Chandlers…)
Monica: “Why is your family Scottish?”
Chandler: “Why is your family ROSS??”
This episode establishes that Phoebe’s apartment is at 5 Morton St., Apt. 14, which she gives over the phone. Thing is, that building doesn’t have an apartment 14. The apartments in that building are numbered 1A-5A, 1B-5B, and so forth until 5D.
---Great Line:
Jessica: “How does it happen?”
Joey: “She gets thrown from a horse into an electrified fence.”
Jessica: “WHAT? Cecilia hates horses!”
Joey: “Well, I’m guessing after this she won’t be crazy about electricity either.”
What in the WORLD was Monica doing wearing military camouflage pants in this episode? What, did her laundry get mixed up with GI Joe's?
When Joey sees that the script for the next episode has arrived at his apartment, indicating that it is the episode in which he becomes Cecilia, Jessica asks how her death happens. He flips a page or two, ending up on a page in the middle of the booklet, and conveniently manages to find the section of the script that answers Jessica’s question.
I wonder if there was some familial tension between Susan Sarandon and actress Eva Amurri when Sarandon's character slapped her in the beginning of the film. In real life, they're mother and daughter!
At the end, when Ross plays the bagpipes, Rachel has her hand over her mouth as Phoebe starts to 'sing along', and it's quite clear that Jennifer Aniston is trying not to laugh.
