So, just because a women likes cats and has three of them, and shows pictures of them to her co-workers, that makes her crazy, huh? And Chandler naturally assumes that Jolene must be single as a result of being a "crazy cat lady". And then she is offended by overhearing Joey call her that on the speakerphone and angrily storms away. Good. I hope she didn't speak to Chandler anymore after that. He wasn't in Tulsa for that much longer, anyway, so I suppose it really didn't matter.

I'm sorry, but I have an inherent dislike of cruel and mean-spirited attempts at humor, especially if it's at the expense of animal lovers. The exact same thing existed with Angela on the Office (ours, not the UK one) where she loved cats and had several of them, and she would usually be mocked and ridiculed behind her back for it. That and possibly because she was uptight and judgmental and took her job seriously, and didnt want to mix fun or pleasure with work. But she did find time for an office romance with Dwight, after saying that co-workers shouldn't fraternize with each other at the beginning of the series.

Anyway, I think you all get what I'm saying here. It was a minor thing that began the show, but I still find it really annoying that certain types of people are persecuted for others' amusement. But then again, Chandler already had a history of alienating people by saying the wrong thing when he thought they couldn't hear him. Right?
