--Great Phoebe Comeback:
(Discussing the difficulties of triplets…)
Frank Jr.: “Two I can handle. Two’s great. You just hold one in each hand. But what do I do when the third one runs at me with his bike helmet on? I got no more hands to protect my area! There’s three of them Phoebe! Three!”
Phoebe: “Yeah, I know, Frank, I counted them when they were coming out of my area.”
--Most Hilarious Moment of the Season So Far:
(As Chandler and Monica visit with Phoebe’s friends Bill and Pauline to talk about their experiences with adoption, Chandler runs into their son Owen in the hallway on the way to the bathroom..)
Chandler: “I gotta get back to talking to your parents. They’re telling us all about how they adopted you.”
Owen: (shocked) “WHAT???!!!”
Chandler: (horrified) “What?”
Owen: “I’m adopted??!!!”
---Great Follow-Up:
(As Chandler and Monica confess to Phoebe that they accidentally let Owen know that he was adopted…)
Phoebe: “Still, he had to find out sometime.”
Chandler: “Yeah, but how would you like it if someone told the triplets that you gave birth to them?”
(The triplets all look up at Chandler in shock.)
Chandler: “I’m gonna go tell Emma she was an accident.”
When are these guys gonna learn to lock their doors? Perhaps I should start a tote board to count the number of times a story that would be precluded if the roommates locked their apartment door.
Frank Jr. tells Phoebe that he hasn’t gotten any sleep in four years because of the triplets. But the triplets were born in The One With the Triplets(5.3), which was the third episode of the fifth season. This is the second episode of the tenth season. They’re five now, not four.
At one point during the gettogether at Ross’ apartment, the four of them are all drinking margaritas, but for some reason, Ross’ margarita glass is missing the salt around the rim. Then again, he is in pretty bad shape…
Some people like them without salt.
The beginning of the episode takes place at approximately the same time as the ending of The One After Joey and Rachel Kiss. Except, this time, Rachel doesn't do Joey's suggestion of using her sexuality when apologizing to Ross about the kiss with Joey.
I think each episode varies chronologically, so we can't assume that each season occurs over one year.
Luigi Novi: When are these guys gonna learn to lock their doors? Perhaps I should start a tote board to count the number of times a story that would be precluded if the roommates locked their apartment door.
Dan Gunther: Yeah, but honestly, who locks the door when they're home? That's just paranoia!
I do. My family does.
Sorry, sorry! See my post Wednesday, November 19, 2003 - 10:30 am on The One With the Late Thanksgiving.
I wonder why Frank and Alice haven't told the kids upfront that while they were conceived by them, they were carried to term by Aunt Phoebe. Telling a kid they're adopted might be something you might want to keep secret, but since Leslie, Chandler and Frank Jr. Jr. are biologically their parents', I can't see the harm in telling them that Aunt Phoebe carried them in her tummy because Mommy was too sick, too weak, whatever, etc.
One of my favorite videos on YouTube is a "Poop" (parody/sentence mixing compilation) called "The One Where Ross Goes Bats*** Crazy". I always laugh my a** off when I watch it. Basically its the compiled scenes from this episode of Ross not dealing with Joey and Rachel being together very well, with some Chandler dialogue mixed in for further comedic effect.
Check it out!
