Every time Ross realizes that the wrong side of his is getting sprayed, rather than turning around immediately, he just stands in the same direction.
I thought that the flashback in The One With the Flashback was to a year before the pilot.
I think Rachel mentioned to her friends how long it was until her wedding to Barry, but I don't recall. Did she say it was a year?
Yeah, I recall her friend saying something to the effect of "one year you will be Mrs. Barry Farber."
I've since seen that episode again myself, and have changed the Note. Thanks.
When Ross said "Hey I know this place, it used to be an X-rated vide...florist!" I immediately thought of a few things.
First of all, are the writers of this episode aware that the Sinister Six have already had a lot of exposure to pornography? Like when Joey shows the one he was in (but didnt have sex) in the second season? And the entire "The One With The Free Porn" episode in the fourth season? And when they watch "Buffay The Vampire Layer" in the Sixth season? These people are fully and well aware of the existence of and the pleasure derived from adult entertainment! Hell, even Ross and Rachel make one of their own in "The One with the Videotape" in the ninth season!
So why would Ross be hesitant to admit that he went to an X-rated movie store in this, an episode from the final episode of the series? The writers apparently were not aware that they were all fully familiar with porn and it's benefits and disadvantages!
That aspect of the tenth season dialogue makes no sense to me. In my opinion, the majority of the scripts here have the same feel as seventh season TNG. You know, where the actors are just phoning it in, giving mediocre, half-assed performances, and basically giving only fifty percent at any given time. And that is a real shame!
Also, I REALLY dont like Jennifer Coolidge. It seems like she gets larger and fatter every time I see her in something. Boy did she ever get typecast! First Sean Scott got forever typecast as Stifler, and then Jen here got totally typecast as his MILF mom! What a shame.
And yeah, she would play Joey's agent in his truly terrible spinoff, and as someone else already pointed out, Adam Goldberg, who played Eddie the psycho roommate in the second season, played Joey's nephew's dad on that same show! What was up with that crappy casting, anyway? I have to say, I just don't get!
That's all I got for this one.
