Eh. I didn’t think this episode was that funny.

Despite the ongoing criticism of the gang not having any other friends aside from each other, we do see them inviting lots of other people over when they have parties, like in The One With The Two Parties(2.22), The One With All The Kissing(5.2), etc. But in this episode, the only two people invited to the party outside of the gang are Jack and Judy. Where are Rachel’s parents? If Rachel and Ross are so concerned about Monica and Chandler being there, why isn’t Rachel concerned about at least one of her parents being there, especially after how angry Rachel’s mom was at Monica for forgetting to invite her to Rachel’s baby shower in The One With the Baby Shower(8.20)?

Would it really be possible to tweak the cake like that in the car without destroying it?

Rachel should have checked the cake on pickup.

I suppose Rachel didn't invite "other" Friends because she wanted it to be just with special people- people who meant a lot to her. You know something like "A small gathering for a few close friends". aving said that though- Luigi's point on Rachel's parents is a valid one. All it needed was a line of dialogue like "ooh here's your present from your OTHER Grandma who couldn't be here today because [insert spoilt rich gag here]"

Yeah, not the best episode.
