---Synopsis:
Rachel’s sister shows up with important news, prompting Rachel to want to help her grow a bit. Monica and Chandler ask Rachel to write a letter of recommendation about them to the adoption agency, but Joey wants to write one too, despite not being an ideal writer. Mike’s plans to propose to Phoebe do not go as planned.

Monica says in the teaser that Chandler won’t even have sex in their own bathroom. Chandler responds that that’s where people make number two. So if at some point during their mutual bubble bath in The One With All The Kissing(5.2) Monica initiated a sexual overture, Chandler would’ve demurred?

Funny how in The One After the Superbowl, Chandler had no problem with stripping and participating in some sexual contact in the men's restroom at the restaurant. Maybe Monica's habits of cleanliness are starting to wear off onto Chandler.

IN-JOKE: Amy's comment about Jill getting fat was a reference to the fact that Reese Witherspoon, who played Jill, was pregnant at the time of the episode's shooting.
