Bristol Plain claims in her recently published memoirs that during the 2008 election, John McCain's daughter Meghan:

"ignored us during the entire visit." This was just before John McCain introduced Sarah Palin as his running mate.

Palin "had a sneaking suspicion I might need to watch my back" and added: "Every time we saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining."

Meghan McCain's response?

She tweeted a link to this YouTube video she made during the election, which documented her quite positive reaction to her father's selection of Bristol's mother as his running mate.

Oh yeah. And she made the video with Bristol's younger sister, Piper.

Because of course, Meghan was "ignoring" them.

It's disappointing to see Bristol has her mother's talent for b.s.

Look, I have nothing against single mothers. However, after she had her son, Tripp, Bristol practically made a career of going around preaching abstinence. Yet once again she opened her legs and invited someone to paint her insides. She sure didn't practice what she preached, didn't she.

And Bristol says she wants no one lecturing her this time.

Well, Bristol, I'll keep it short. You are one of the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen. You accepted money to talk about abstaining from sex while not being married. Yet actions speak louder than words, and you certainly dropped the ball here, Bristol. You should give back all that money you took for those lectures, IMO.

Bristol, have you ever heard of birth control? Or why didn't whatever guy you were banging use a rubber? Obviously safe sex is totally foreign concept to you.

One heck of a daughter you have there, Sarah. You must be so proud, you betcha.
