Mike Pence

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Political Musings: Political Figures: Mike Pence
By Judi Jeffreys (Jjeffreys_mod) on Wednesday, January 09, 2019 - 3:56 am:

Pence reminds me of Palpatine in the Star Wars prequels... all false modesty and affected humility... and then one day it will be "Commander Smith? Execute Order 66!".

By steve McKinnon (Steve) on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 - 6:24 am:

The background of this page is almost as white as Pence's hair!

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 - 9:35 pm:

Mike Putz...er... Pence, the (IMHO grossly unqualified) head of the Corona virus task force, wants to declare the pandemic done. So his boss can resume campaigning, and receive the adoration he craves at the rallies I'm sure he sorely misses. More here.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Thursday, October 08, 2020 - 7:16 am:

The most entertaining part of last night's VP candidates' debate, where the Putz wouldn't shut up and ignored moderator Susan Page's attempts to keep him in check, was when a fly landed on Pence's mane of white hair. And stayed there for two or three minutes. More on The Fly here.

By Francois Lacombe (Franc0is) on Thursday, October 08, 2020 - 8:26 am:

Quoting a comment I saw somewhere: "Well, flies do love to land on $hit", or close enough

By Judi Jeffreys, Granada in NorthWest (Jjeffreys_mod) on Friday, October 09, 2020 - 8:33 am:

I'm imagining a Norman/Mrs Bates scenario with Pence and his wife.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Saturday, October 10, 2020 - 5:37 am:

Pence is such a non-entity anyway.

By steve McKinnon (Steve) on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 - 9:07 pm:

I'm guessing that Pence's favorite song is 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)' by The Offspring!

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Thursday, October 22, 2020 - 5:19 am:

He's Orange's little homunculus.

By steve McKinnon (Steve) on Sunday, November 08, 2020 - 5:36 pm:

And sayonara to the Invisible Bland, the lamest, most useless do-nothing-never-had-the-spine-to-reign-in-Orange-Hitler Pence.

You will be remembered for...
...nothing.
Your name will fade from relevancy and you'll join the forgotten Vice-Presidents of the past.
Buh-BYE, you Man From Gladd reject!

By Rodney Hrvatin (Rhrvatin) on Sunday, November 08, 2020 - 5:39 pm:

He'll be remembered for a fly...

By steve McKinnon (Steve) on Monday, November 09, 2020 - 6:28 am:

Or will the FLY be remembered and not him?
Hmmm.
A matter of semantics...

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 - 5:08 am:

Could be.

By Charles Cabe (Ccabe) on Saturday, December 26, 2020 - 9:49 am:

One thing I like about COVID vaccines is that we are testing them out on politicains, not mice or lab rats, witch are much cuter than most politicians.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Saturday, December 26, 2020 - 11:00 am:

I didn't think of it that way. Thanks, Charles.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Sunday, December 27, 2020 - 5:51 am:

Yup.

By ScottN (Scottn) on Sunday, December 27, 2020 - 8:13 pm:

Besides, there are some things that lab rats just won't do for ANY amount of money (or cheese).

Although I think that any politician who loudly proclaimed that COVID was a hoax (and yes there were some) should get the vaccine LAST, since they are in no danger from a hoax.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Monday, December 28, 2020 - 5:03 am:

Good point.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Tuesday, January 05, 2021 - 2:51 pm:

Tomorrow is when The Putz performs his (mostly ceremonial) duty of presiding over the election results certification. Fat Ass Trump is still putting pressure on Putz, that he can overturn the election results, in Fat Man's favor. Will Putz do his Constitutional duty, or will he play coward, and stoop down to Fat Man's (lower than bottom feeder) level. Stay tuned. More from CNN here.

By Francois Lacombe (Franc0is) on Tuesday, January 05, 2021 - 3:49 pm:

Pence will perform his duty as Vice President the way he should, he said as much to his increasingly unhinged boss. Then, immediately afterward (strong emphasis on immediately), Pence departs on a diplomatic tour with stops in Bahrain, Israel and Poland, wisely putting an ocean between him and Trump's wrath.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Wednesday, January 06, 2021 - 5:18 am:

And today's the day.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Wednesday, January 06, 2021 - 4:48 pm:

As a result of today's siege on the Capitol by Trump supporters, calls for Pence to invoke the 25th amendment have surfaced. But, the Putz is such a coward, and so afraid of Fat Ass Trump and his stupid tweets, nothing will come of it. More here.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Thursday, January 07, 2021 - 5:08 am:

Like most Republicans, Pence couldn't distance himself fast enough from Orange.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Thursday, January 07, 2021 - 8:03 am:

Pence performed his Constitutional duty (at 3:40 a.m. today) and affirmed Joe Biden as the 46th President. Despite pressure from the despicable orange faced, fat ass crud Donald Trump. Who endlessly pressured the Putz to ignore the electoral college results, and declare Fat Ass the winner. More from CBS News here.

By Francois Lacombe (Franc0is) on Thursday, January 07, 2021 - 9:15 am:

Pence performed his Constitutional duty (at 3:40 a.m. today) and affirmed Joe Biden as the 46th President.

And possibly killed any prospect of ever becoming President himself in the process. The Trump mob will not forgive him that trespass.

By Judi Jeffreys, Granada in NorthWest (Jjeffreys_mod) on Friday, January 08, 2021 - 12:21 am:

Francois, Pence has to know if you play with fire you can expect to be burned.

By Francois Lacombe (Franc0is) on Friday, January 08, 2021 - 4:05 am:

Yeah, but I don't think he ever expected that particular fire to be so intense.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Friday, January 08, 2021 - 5:12 am:

Pence can just fade back into obscurity.

By steve McKinnon (Steve) on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 - 4:47 pm:

I was harsh back in November, because Pence WAS pretty invisibile and comnpliant in Trump's awful behavior, but after acting as the bridge between the old administration and the new Biden one, I'm giving Pence some credit.
He has piles more dignity and class than the cowardly crybaby ever displayed. And frankly, Trump would have been a distraction and a wet blanket to one of the most anticipated exchanges of power. I almost felt sorry for him as he watched his job handed to someone else, but the other side of his ticket is just a flippin' bad memory.
Hell, I wouldn't even be upset if the guy ran for president in 2024. Wouldn't want him to win, but I'm not adverse to him coming back.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Thursday, January 21, 2021 - 5:13 am:

At least he accepted that they had lost the election.

Orange all but accused him of being a traitor because of that.

By Francois Lacombe (Franc0is) on Sunday, February 28, 2021 - 10:53 am:

In Political Musings: Political Parties & Philosophies: Republican: Board 2, Tim McCree asked on Saturday, February 27, 2021: Why would anyone with half-a-brain want to be associated with Orange!?

Well, it seems that even Mike Pence considers Trump's good graces to be worth the humiliation, as talked about in this video.

By steve McKinnon (Steve) on Thursday, March 04, 2021 - 12:10 pm:

Well, what tiny bit of respect I had for Pence when he did the right thing in January is gone again. The coward is back in Trump's corner, probably to save his lame, two-bit political career.
Pathetic-- the nuts were actually shouting, "Hang Mike Pence!" and he's back on THEIR side???
What a very, very, very little 'man'.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Friday, March 05, 2021 - 5:22 am:

Why would he go back to supporting Orange!?

By Francois Lacombe (Franc0is) on Friday, March 05, 2021 - 6:55 am:

You keep asking that question, and the answer is always the same. He needs the votes of Trump's followers to get elected.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Friday, March 05, 2021 - 4:51 pm:

Guess Pence had nothing else going on. Mike Pence is the narrator of a four part series for the streaming service Fox Nation about the life and impact of Rush Limbaugh. More here.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Saturday, March 06, 2021 - 5:31 am:

There are better things to make documentaries about. Waste disposal, for example.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Thursday, April 15, 2021 - 9:18 pm:

Pence did have something else going on. He had a pacemaker installed. Pence is four and a half years younger than me; I guess four years of carrying water for the Orange Blunder stressed him to the max. More here.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Friday, April 16, 2021 - 5:20 am:

Could be.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Friday, February 04, 2022 - 4:58 pm:

Pence finally grew a backbone. He said that, despite what the Great Hole insisted, he couldn't overturn the 2020 election. More on that here.

By Kevin (Kevin) on Friday, February 04, 2022 - 6:07 pm:

Saying he grew a backbone is a bit generous. I doubt his motivations were motivated by morality.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Saturday, February 05, 2022 - 5:00 am:

Probably covering his butt, in case he decides to run for office again.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Sunday, November 13, 2022 - 9:11 am:

Pence has a book coming out this Tuesday, November 15, titled So Help Me God. When it comes to Donald Trump, the book paints a rather unflattering portrait of the Great Sphincter over the 2020 election. More on that from Politico here. (From what I've heard, the Politico article is too easy on Trump; I had heard that he was painted in the book as a raving lunatic.)

By Rodney Hrvatin (Rhrvatin) on Sunday, November 13, 2022 - 9:09 pm:

"Hundreds of thousands are gonna hate your guts. People are gonna think you're stupid."
I think that was already happening, Donny....

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 - 4:49 pm:

Pence was a bit evasive when asked in an hour long interview with ABC's David Muir if Donald Trump should ever be president again. Pence said that should be decided by the American people.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Saturday, February 04, 2023 - 9:48 pm:

The Putz, who is considering a 2024 White House run, has suggested that "reforms" should be made to Social Security and Medicare. "Reform" to a Republican almost always means cuts. More on this nonsense here. Yet, people who would be the most affected by the "reforms" still vote these jackasses in. Why?

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Sunday, February 05, 2023 - 5:01 am:

Why did the people of Germany vote Hitler in (and yes, he was voted in)?

Same question being asked, ninety years later.

By steve McKinnon (Steve) on Tuesday, February 07, 2023 - 1:16 pm:

Actually, I'd welcome a Pence run (and failure) for the presidency, if the Orange Catastrophe is also on the stage.
Think of it-- the one guy who was there for all 4 years (who wasn't and couldn't be 'fired') of lunacy and idiocy and could really go to town on showing everyone who Chump really was.
Whether anybody would be willing to listen is another story, but his claims would be more believable than anything Desantis and others could say.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Wednesday, February 08, 2023 - 5:10 am:

That would be interesting.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Friday, April 28, 2023 - 8:28 am:

Mike Pence testified yesterday, to the grand jury investigating the 2020 election and the January 6 riot at the Capitol. Pence testified for a good five hours. Let's see if he did what Donald Trump wanted him to do. Namely, lie under oath. More froy CNN here.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Sunday, April 30, 2023 - 5:50 am:

Sounds interesting.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Saturday, March 16, 2024 - 12:49 pm:

Mike Pence has grown a spine and has said that he cannot endorse Donald Trump. More on that from CNN here.
That decision must not have been easy, Mike. You risk bringing down the wrath of the Trump MAGATS right on your head. The same blinded followers of Orange Peel who wanted you hung by the gallows on 1/6/21.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Sunday, March 17, 2024 - 5:28 am:

If only others in the GOP would grow a backbone.

By Adam Bomb (Abomb) on Sunday, March 17, 2024 - 9:11 am:

That's way too much to ask of them, Tim.
I hope Mr. Pence has adequate security, to protect him from the wrath of Sissy Boy's low life MAGATS. Vice presidents' Secret Service protection dries up six months after leaving office.

By Tim McCree (Tim_m) on Monday, March 18, 2024 - 5:12 am:

Hopefully he has private security.
