Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene's husband has filed for divorce, after 27 years of marriage. I guess he grew a set, and can't take any more of her big mouthed b/s nonsense. Including harassment of parents of children who were killed in the Parkland school shooting, appearing at the campaign headquarters of her opponent to harass his staff, and saying asinine stuff like Covid was conceived in a "peach tree" dish. Greene has (hypocritically) requested privacy in regard to her divorce proceedings, after harassing those parents, and taking the side of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones (who called the Sandy Hook school shooting faked, and was ordered to pay dearly for that) in that matter. The big problem could be that if the just as big a-hole Donald Trump runs in 2024 and wins (let's hope not) she could be his running mate, and therefore vice president. This nonsense hinges on the possiblity that Republicans take back the House after the mid-term elections. Yeah, Marge. Republicans are fiscal conservatives only when it comes to social programs like Social Security and Medicare. Which they're chomping at the bit to cut or end. The thing is, they need those votes to win their elections. Without them, most of their candidates would get trounced by the Democrats, so they can't reject Trump and alienate his supporters, however much they would want to. But things are actually changing, big Republican names, like Paul Ryan, Ron DeSantis and Mitch McConnell are starting to oppose the man directly. They know he can't win the 2024 presidential election, so I suspect many Republicans will go on the attack after the coming mid terms, when they no longer have as much to lose by doing so.
The fact that the Republican party needs the support of such people speaks volumes.

Greene was re-elected to her second term this week, defeating common sense Democrat Marcus Flowers. Guess the probably equally bigoted trailer trash that voted that moron back in can't get their heads out of their asses, even if Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado and Chrysler Ram trucks combined did the pulling. As I've said elsewhere on this site, this is proof that some will vote the party line, no matter the quality (or lack of) the candidate.

Although Kevin McCarthy was elected Speaker of the House a few weeks ago, it's Greene and her cronies who are calling the shots. Cowardly McCarthy sold his soul to those know-nothings to get tbe Speaker's position. And, those fools are standing firm in refusing to negotiate in raising the U.S. debt limit. This will affect programs that many people (including yours truly) depend on. Like Social Security and Medicare. Why do people continually vote these jackasses in? They don't have their constituents best interests in mind; all they know is how to destroy what's there, with no clue on how to fix the damage they cause. And, people will still vote them in time and time again. Even if they're living in a cardboard box on a street corner, because their Social Security is now gone. With gangrenous limbs and other medical issues, because crackpots like Greene eliminated their Medicare. People should wake up. Unfortunately, they won't.
