Hmmmmm The first episode was called "The End" Last episode?????

The beginning of what exactly? A new self confident Rimmer?

Why would the simulant leader start surrendering when all he has to do is order his minions to abort the missiles?

Perhaps they were were heat-seeking and couldn't be aborted?

If they were heat seeking, and couldn't be stopped, what would be the point of surrendering?

Rimmer has had two bombshells dropped on him this season. First was that his brother, Howard, was not the big hero he thought he was. Now, it's the man he thought was his father wasn't (it was their gardener).

Given that Rimmer's mother had a wandering eye, this is not surprising. So Howard and the other two brothers are Arnold's half-brothers (same mother, different father).

Unless his mother slept with the gardner more than once. ;-)

The Rimmer family would have made a good Maury Povich episode.
